Debuted in 2000, the BAPE STA was known to be one of the most hype-defining footwear among sneakerheads. Re-modeled after the Nike Air Force 1, the swoosh was replaced with a lightning star and a APE\/BAPE text was engraved to the midsoles. Originally constructed with patent leather on the upper, various iteration with materials and colorways have been released throughout the years.<\/p>\n

This time, hiiting the shelves would be four new colorways, sporting a more minimalistic approach to the sneaker. Crafted in calf leather, it gives a luxurious look with a soft touch to the upper, bringing out the natural beauty of the silhouette. Adding to the previous lineup, the collection introduces a bright purple and beige, along with a more tone-down aqua green and black colorway.<\/p>\n

Available in both Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s sizes at a retail price of JPY26,400 (~US$190), the BAPE STA collection will be releasing on 7th October via A BATHING APE\u2019s online store, followed by an offline release at their physical stores on 8th October.<\/p>\n
