Nike Basketball’s Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit is renowned for its exclusive, highly sought-after colorways that never make it to general retail. Each year, Nike creates some of its most appealing designs specifically for the young athletes in the program, leaving many consumers hoping for a public release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Nike KD 18 for EYBL, however, shares a strong resemblance to an upcoming retail release: the Nike KD 18 “International Blue”<\/a>. While very similar, the EYBL edition distinguishes itself with a full blue treatment across the upper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It appears to feature the same matte metallic finish as the Foamposite-inspired retail pair, but with matching tonal blue on the mesh and unique Team Durant branding on the interior. In contrast, the retail KD 18 “International Blue” incorporates black mesh for a color-blocking more faithful to its inspiration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both versions, fortunately, boast striking translucent “iced out” outsoles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the KD 18 “EYBL” will remain exclusive to the program, fans can look forward to the Nike KD 18 “International Blue”<\/a> pair hitting retail later this Fall\/Holiday season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
