WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO, the conceptual platform from the legendary Japanese designer, is dropping its third collaboration with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the developers behind the iconic Yakuza<\/em> (now known as Like a Dragon<\/em>) video game series. The highly anticipated collection will launch in Japan on 23rd July 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Collection: Where Tattoos Become Wearable Art<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This third installment, already generating significant buzz, consists of three graphic T-shirt models and a short-sleeve shirt. The collection elevates the series’ iconic tattoo art into collectible fashion pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The T-shirts focus on the complex relationships between the game’s central characters. Each design uniquely combines the intricate Irezumi<\/em><\/strong> (traditional Japanese tattoos) of two figures\u2014such as fated rivals Kazuma Kiryu and Ryuji Goda, or sworn brothers Goro Majima and Taiga Saejima\u2014condensing their intertwined histories of conflict and loyalty onto a single garment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The short-sleeve button-up shirt reconstructs various Irezumi<\/em> motifs into a delicate, monochrome all-over pattern. The piece showcases meticulous craftsmanship with precise pattern-matching across the front.
