ASICS continues to hold a strong presence in fashion circles, with its mesh runners remaining relevant over the past two years. Rather than relying solely on established silhouettes, the brand has introduced refreshed takes on its classic models. The GT-2160, a longstanding favorite in ASICS\u2019 lineup, is the latest to receive an update with the introduction of this Breeze redux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the ASICS GT-2160 Breeze<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ASICS GT-2160 Breeze debuts in two colorways and features a redesigned upper that replaces traditional mesh panels with cut-outs exposing the pair’s interior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new construction is complemented by a neoprene bootie and collar, offering a more secure and cushioned fit compared to the original. Aside from these changes and an updated quick lace system, the sneaker retains much of the GT-2160’s design language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The toebox incorporates open-spaced mesh, while leather is used on the mudguard, midfoot panel, and heel overlay. The signature ASICS tiger stripe logo appears on the midfoot in Metallic Silver, paired with black on the Black colorway, and Metallic Silver with cream on the White option\u2014all of which sit on a tonal foam midsole and a matching rubber outsole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Arriving on 20 June 2025, the ASICS GT-2160 Breeze is priced at US$130 and will be available exclusively through Concepts (CNCPTS), both online and in-store. A broader rollout is planned through ASICS and other retailers at a later date. Stay tuned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
