On 1 July 2025, the Extra Battle Day Pok\u00e9mon TCG tournaments will take place throughout Japan. To mark the event, Creatures Inc. will release a set of 13 promotional cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s Extra Battle Day marks a significant departure from previous years. For the first time, the participation award promo is being changed mid-year, whereas in the past, these promos typically changed only once per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the Extra Battle Day events taking place on 1 July 2025 across Japan, all participants will receive a promotional Roxanne card as a participation prize. This replaces the Irida promo card that was distributed during the previous Extra Battle Day events held on 1 January 2025. This promotional Roxanne card is a reprint of a card originally from Battle Region [S9a]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to the Roxanne promotional card, participants will also receive an Extra Battle Day Promo Card Pack, which contains one randomly selected card from a pool of 12. These cards include Girafarig, Crobat V, Computer Search, Muscle Band, Pokemon Ranger, Garbodor, Trainer’s Mail, Battle Compressor, VS Seeker, Float Stone, Silent Lab, and Double Dragon Energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All of the promotional cards mentioned above will be distributed exclusively as prizes for event participants. As such, the only way to obtain them is by joining the event or purchasing them on the secondary market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s highly unlikely that the Extra Battle Day promotional cards will ever be released in English. In addition, their prices won’t be known until the cards make it to the secondary market.
