[Update 15 Jul 2025] Successful raffle entrants can expect to receive the Special Boxes during the following dates: mid-August 2025 (Tohoku), early September 2025 (Hiroshima), and late September 2025 (Fukuoka).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 23 Jun 2025] Creatures Inc. has now confirmed that additional production of the Pok\u00e9mon Center Special Boxes is now in the works. However, no further information was provided as to whether this additional production referred to further raffles, online sale on the Pok\u00e9mon Center website<\/a>, or in-store sale at the three relevant Pok\u00e9mon Centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conjunction with the recent and upcoming reopenings of three Pok\u00e9mon Centers\u2014Tohoku on 14 March 2025, Hiroshima on 11 April, and Fukuoka on 27 June\u2014three Special Boxes (one for each of the Pok\u00e9mon Centers) will be released in honor of the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Pok\u00e9mon Center Special Boxes <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Each of the three Special Boxes include 64 card sleeves, a deck box, a card storage box, and most excitingly of all, an all-new promotional card. The promotional cards all feature Pikachu and are named “Tohoku’s Pikachu”, “Hiroshima’s Pikachu”, and “Fukuoka’s Pikachu” respectively as nods to the locations of the Pok\u00e9mon Centers in question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, although these will be the first Hiroshima’s Pikachu and Fukuoka’s Pikachu cards, the Tohoku’s Pikachu card will be the second. The first Tohoku’s Pikachu card<\/a> was released in 2017 as part of the SM-P Promotional Cards. In addition, though it wasn’t named “Fukuoka’s Pikachu”, a Pikachu card linked to Pok\u00e9mon Center Fukuoka<\/a> was launched as part of the DP-P Promotional Cards in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of the three promotional cards depicts Pikachu in a setting that directly references the cultural heritage of the specific region of Japan where the related Pok\u00e9mon Center is located. Each card also has its respective Pok\u00e9mon Center’s logo on its right side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An online raffle for purchase of these Special Boxes began on 13 June and will conclude on 17 June. It’s also expected that from a date yet to be announced, each Special Box will also be sold at its respective Pok\u00e9mon Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All three Special Boxes will be Japanese-exclusive items and sell for 2,090 JPY (~US$14) each.
