[Update 28 Dec 2022] This isn’t the first time Nike has colored a pair of Dunks purple. Following “Varsity Purple” and “Court Purple”, the Swoosh is officially introducing its newest purple shade\u2014the “Psychic Purple” via a pair of upcoming Dunk High.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Official photos and a Japan release date are now confirmed for this purple-and-black pair. The Nike Dunk High “Psychic Purple” will drop on 2 January 2023 at a retail price of US$120. Browse through the gallery as we count down to its release.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Line\"With fall approaching in the northern hemisphere, brands have been busy dropping sneakers in the classic colors of black or white, and other warmer tones. However, it seems like Nike is happy with carrying on its tradition of colorblocking its shoes.<\/p>\n

Here, we get an early sneak peek at a pair of Nike Dunk High “Black and Purple”. The construction of Peter Moore’s classic sneaker remains the same\u2014building on a smooth black leather upper, Nike adds overlays in a vibrant shade of purple over. The lateral Swoosh also dons the same purple hue; whereas the lace and outsole feature a purple shade that’s closer to indigo. It’s classic Nike but with a twist.<\/p>\n
