[Update 1 Nov] A release date has been announced for Japan and the US, with the pair going live for the former from 5th November and a wider release for the latter on the 18th. Campaign images have also surfaced, offering us a look at the Zig Kinetica II Edge in the habitat it was designed for, along with some on-feet ones to see how they’ll look in action. A US$170 price tag is attached to it but should any more information come to light, we’ll be sure to extend it to you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Started out as a shop in Sapporo Japan, South2 West8 aka S2W8 has grown into a brand that is largely based on Tenkara fly fishing. Presenting designs with technical details specifically worn during fishing excursions and more outdoor-inspired lifestyle pieces, the brand has also set its foot on the streetwear scene through past collaborations with Supreme, PENDLETON, KEEN etc.<\/p>\n

This time, partnering up with Reebok, the duo is offering their take on the Zig Kinetica II Edge. Dressing a camo-like base upper that resembles the flow of the stream, it is blocked with green suede panels that wraps around the sneaker. Equipped with a Vibram outsole, it features angled lugs for optimal grip on ascents and descents, providing the best of durability and protection for any situation.<\/p>\n

Retailing for 170 EUR (US$~165), the South2 West8 x Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge “Clover Green” is set to release on 1st October via EU retailers. No launch dates have been confirmed for US yet so do keep an eye out for future updates.<\/p>\n
