One of the inclusions in a new variant of the Blue\/Purple Luffy deck is the God Thread card from Royal Blood [OP-10]<\/a>. While not previously a card which had made all that much headway in the ONE PIECE Card Game metagame, recent meta shifts have driven several Blue\/Purple Luffy players to pivot towards this card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About God Thread (Royal Blood [OP-10] OP10-079)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

God Thread is mainly included as a tech against specific deck archetypes, specifically those that prioritize the use of Character cards which have costs of 5 or less. This is because it can be used to immediately KO those low-cost Character cards before allowing the player to take a DON!! card from the DON!! deck, then set it as active. It’s important to use God Thread before it becomes too late to viably do so as its utility is severely curtailed in the late game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a card mainly sought by players rather than collectors. This is because God Thread only comes in the low rarity of Uncommon (UC) and doesn’t feature a Parallel Art illustration. That being said, one point which might draw collectors to the card lies in the fact that it depicts the iconic fight between Donquixote Doflamingo and Monkey D. Luffy; specifically, the scene when Doflamingo uses the card’s titular attack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card is already out in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to its low rarity, a God Thread (Royal Blood [OP-10] OP10-079) card doesn’t cost much, coming in at just 110 JPY (~US$0.76).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
