From September 2023 to April 2024, the Vengeful Punch card from Ruler of the Black Flame [SV3]<\/a> was sometimes included in the Charizard ex deck before eventually falling out of favor. However, this Pok\u00e9mon Tool card has recently made a stunning comeback with its inclusion in an increasingly popular variant of the Gholdengo ex deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Vengeful Punch (Ruler of the Black Flame [SV3] 102\/108)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If an opposing Pok\u00e9mon picks up a KO on the Pok\u00e9mon to which Vengeful Punch is attached via direct damage from an attack, the attacking Pok\u00e9mon will have four damage counters placed on it. This is therefore a card which can enable the player to add that last bit of damage to pick up an important KO or to put pressure on an opposing Pok\u00e9mon and leave it at possible risk of being taken out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card is almost entirely notable for its gameplay utility. Due to its low rarity of Uncommon (U) and its lack of a Full Art illustration, the card isn’t typically one which is pursued by collectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
