Adding a fresh face to its renowned performance running family, adidas introduces the adizero Goukana, the latest innovation poised to join the esteemed adizero roster. This new silhouette is set to make its initial impact with a special pre-launch via Los Angeles retailer UNDEFEATED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rooted in the design DNA of the 2008 Adios Neftenga, the Goukana honors adidas\u2019 performance heritage, its name, “luxurious and plush” in Japanese, paying tribute to original adiZero designer Mr. Toshiaki Omori.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This lifestyle-focused silhouette features a premium suede, mesh, and reflective synthetic upper atop an oversized sole unit, engineered to match contemporary baggier styles. It integrates performance through Lightstrike cushioning, borrowed from elite models for lightweight responsiveness and comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A vibrant yellow finish references the original Neftenga and racing culture, complementing the LA-designed silhouette’s dynamic, city-inspired vibe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adidas adizero Goukana pre-launches on 10 May at UNDEFEATED Silver Lake. Supporting the launch is a community-driven campaign partnering with LA grassroots organizations like Motoring While Black and Fabrica de Rosas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
