Throughout the history of the Pok\u00e9mon video games, Zubat and its evolutions have been staples of the Pok\u00e9mon rosters of Team Rocket members. For that reason, it shouldn’t be all that surprising that Crobat, Zubat’s final evolution, has been featured on a Special Art Rare (SAR) Team Rocket’s Crobat ex card from The Glory of Team Rocket [SV10]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Team Rocket’s Crobat ex (The Glory of Team Rocket [SV10] 127\/098)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The card’s Full Art illustration depicts a colony of Zubat, Golbat, and Crobat flying around a Team Rocket grunt; it’s implied that the grunt owns most or all of the Pok\u00e9mon. Of course, one of the Pok\u00e9mon which the grunt does own is the titular Crobat as is implied by the “Team Rocket’s” prefix in the card’s name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fact that a Team Rocket grunt is shown in possession of a Crobat is also significant. This is because it shows that despite her role within one of the Pok\u00e9mon universe’s leading criminal syndicates, the grunt cares deeply about her Pok\u00e9mon because the only way for Golbat to evolve into Crobat is through bonding with its Trainer. This therefore adds a layer of depth with regard to narrative and characterization to the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
