Season 20 for the King will officially be underway in less than a month. 20 years in the NBA, 20 years of performing at the highest level, 20 years of his partnership with Nike. LeBron James’ 20th signature will commemorate an unparalleled legacy, the 20 years prior and its 20 years ahead. At 37, even though the pursuit of a 5th ring seems more challenging than it’s ever been, LeBron is still on the way to break decades-old records, adding more jewels to his already shining crown.<\/p>\n
His cavalry in this pursuit will be the LeBron XX, dressed here in the “Time Machine” colorway. The first one to debut as a low-top, the pair borrows elements from his previous models while amalgamating it with some of the latest technology in the Swoosh’s repertoire.<\/p>\n
A carbon mid-foot shank is reintroduced here from the LeBron 5 with his hallmark Dunkman silhouette making an appearance once more since the 16. The forefoot is also equipped with a top-loaded Air Zoom Turbo unit while the heel features an even larger Zoom Air unit.<\/p>\n
Moving up, the construction of the upper is fitted with double-stacked iridescent Swooshes outlined with a contrasting stitching. Other regalia fit for a king’s feet, are the “XX” lace dubraes, the artisinal embroidery surrounding his “Crown” logo on the heel and the debossed signature on the tongues. The collar lining includes a Nike technology called “Nike Sphere” that originally appeared in the Air Zoom Generation.<\/p>\n

We had players like LeBron\u2019s sons Bronny and Bryce in mind.
