This measure aims to deter resellers by diminishing the perceived value of unopened products, making it challenging for secondary buyers to verify the authenticity and untampered condition of items without the original seal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this approach is novel for an official Pok\u00e9mon outlet outside Japan, it’s noteworthy that in Japan, removing shrink wrap from TCG products before sale has been a common practice for years.
