Although Secret Box had already been a key part of several leading decks in the Pok\u00e9mon TCG metagame heading into the San Antonio Regionals in January 2025, it was the outcome of that tournament which put this ACE SPEC card in the spotlight. US player Henry Chao took the title in San Antonio with a Gardevoir ex deck; his deck variant included a copy of the Secret Box card from Mask of Change [SV6].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Secret Box (Mask of Change [SV6] 092\/101)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When Secret Box is played, the player has the opportunity to draw the following cards and place them in hand: an Item card, a Pok\u00e9mon Tool card, a Supporter card, and a Stadium card after discarding three cards from the hand. When used at exactly the right time, Secret Box can give the player just about everything needed for setup purposes in one fell swoop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commonly selected cards via Secret Box include Arven from Violet ex [SV1V]<\/a>, Earthen Vessel from Night Wanderer [SV6a]<\/a>, Artazon from Ruler of the Black Flame [SV3]<\/a>, and Irida from Space Juggler [S10P]<\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The card’s background comes in the signature hot pink of the ACE SPEC cards. As for the card’s illustration, though not a Full Art, it’s eye-catching in its own right. It shows energy emanating from the interior of Secret Box, highlighting the sheer power of an ACE SPEC card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The English version of this card is card 163\/167 from Twilight Masquerade [TWM].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A copy of a Secret Box (Mask of Change [SV6] 092\/101) card isn’t expensive at all; one sells for just 500 JPY (~US$3.34).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
