HOKA, born of pure athletic intent in 2009, has gracefully pivoted, its stride now firmly within the realm of lifestyle. Once the domain of the dedicated runner, its designs, like the Clifton series, became urban staples and then coveted by high fashion. This latter evolution is highlighted by an upcoming MARNI collaboration, as indicated by leaked images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A teaser, courtesy of Modern Notoriety, suggests a reimagining of the Mafate Speed 2\u2014a model already versed in collaboration. This iteration, however, appears to trade trail grit for runway polish. The technical fabrications are replaced by a puffed, quilted upper, a statement in a single, vibrant orange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though reminiscent of its trail origins, the shoe’s aesthetic leans toward high fashion. A pull tab and a sculpted midsole are visible, though the expected Vibram outsole remains to be ascertained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
