Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty are preparing for a WNBA Finals showdown against the Lynx. Throughout the season, Ionescu has been showcasing her second signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike Sabrina 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both of her sneaker designs draw inspiration from her Romanian heritage. Recently, a new colorway of the Sabrina 2, spotted by Sole Retriever during a practice session, pays tribute to a meaningful gift from her mother\u2014a bracelet brought back from Romania. This edition, named the Nike Sabrina 2 “Stronger Than Gold”, is deeply personal, reflecting the bond between Sabrina and her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design features a Khaki and Rattan color scheme, with engineered mesh forming the foundation of the upper. A prominent S-shaped overlay on the midfoot is accented with Sail-colored textile piping. Golden details, inspired by the cherished bracelet, appear on the custom lace dubrae, the midfoot Swoosh logos, and the Sabrina “S” logo on the tongue. Mini “S” logos are embroidered near the collar in a contrasting shade. The sneaker\u2019s foam midsole combines Sail and Metallic Gold tones, complemented by a golden rubber outsole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Nike Sabrina 2 “Stronger Than Gold” is scheduled to launch on 6 March 2025, available through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Priced at US$140, it will be offered in unisex sizing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
