Before the release of Quarter Century Art Collection, many in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG community had speculated about what the character featured on the Nibiru, the Primal Being card truly looked like inside its rocky shell. That question has finally been answered with the alternate-art card which was just released in Quarter Century Art Collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Nibiru, the Primal Being (Quarter Century Art Collection QCAC-JP010)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nibiru, the Primal Being has been shown to have a true physical form similar to that of Theia, the Primal Being. This makes sense because the two cards are counterparts. Both cards have an original ATK of 3000, an original DEF of 600, and a Level of 11; both cards are also Rock-type Effect Monster cards. Both cards also made their English debuts as Prismatic Secret Rares in a Mega-Tin. Their attributes are opposites; Nibiru, the Primal Being’s is Light while Theia, the Primal Being’s is Dark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although this is an alternate-art card which comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare, neither of these facts are the main reason why this card is one of its set’s more impressive pulls. The main attraction with regard to this card lies in the fact that its alternate artwork reveals the answer to a mystery to which the answer had been kept from the Yu-Gi-Oh fan community for more than five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nibiru, the Primal Being is also a card with much metagame relevance. This is because when paired with certain other hand trap cards, this card can be used as counterplay against the general strategies of a wide range of decks. It’s therefore included in many tournament decks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This card has already been released in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A copy of a Quarter Century Secret Rare Nibiru, the Primal Being (Quarter Century Art Collection QCAC-JP010) card has a sale price of 6,000 JPY (~US$40).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
