Once again, it\u2019s time to check in with what all of you have been purchasing from the SNKRDUNK App as far as TCG products are concerned. Looking back on recent figures, we\u2019ve found that the products listed here have ranked as some of our biggest sellers. To those willing to shell out the money to land them, we certainly do recommend them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s a clear theme among the products we\u2019re about to go through; it can\u2019t be questioned that two certain Pok\u00e9mon have recently captured the imagination of SNKRDUNK\u2019s buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026yeah, nobody is surprised by this being here at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not even been close\u2014every single day since the earth-shattering release of Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] in December 2024, the Special Art Rare (SAR) Umbreon ex-card has topped our sales charts. And it\u2019s no wonder\u2014Umbreon ex has unsurprisingly emerged as not only the standout card of the immensely hyped Terastal Festival ex [SV8a]; it\u2019s already a serious contender for the title of \u201cbest card of the Pok\u00e9mon TCG\u2019s ninth generation\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The card\u2019s striking crystalline art style typifies all cards featuring a Terastallized Pok\u00e9mon; however, this card\u2019s appeal goes beyond its art style. It\u2019s not even just about the fact that it depicts Umbreon, by far the most popular of all eight Eeveelutions. Arguably the biggest factor attracting people to this card is the fact that for many, it\u2019s seen as a spiritual successor to one of the most iconic cards in Pok\u00e9mon TCG history. This English-exclusive card Gen 9 promotional card was part of the Pok\u00e9mon X Van Gogh campaign\u2014a collaboration between The Pok\u00e9mon Company International and the Van Gogh Museum. The campaign ran from September 2023 to January 2024; since then, the card associated with it has become one of the TCG\u2019s most in-demand items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to its limited distribution period, the number of copies of this card in circulation is relatively low, jacking up its value. This card\u2014which is fittingly a Pok\u00e9mon TCG version of a Vincent van Gogh painting\u2014was also in the spotlight for controversial reasons as in the immediate period following its highly anticipated release, it was targeted by scalpers who hoarded it for price manipulation reasons. By now, most scalpers have backed off from this card; however, it\u2019s clear that the craze for it remains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A different promotional Pikachu card based on a painting\u2014this one by Hishikawa Moronobu\u2014has of late been pulling in loads of buyers. Between August 2021 and April 2022, this was one of two Gen 8 promotional cards made available to winners of three separate lotteries. The card was part of the Pok\u00e9mon Stamp Box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, this card has the large value that it does in part because of the limited period during which it was possible to obtain the card. In addition, the card\u2019s art style is intended to resemble that of the original ukiyo-e painting\u2014something only seen on the related promotional Cramorant<\/a> card; of course, Pikachu is way more popular than Cramorant, making this card far more coveted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recent and ongoing flurry of hype for Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] has drawn eyes to the Eeveelution-centric set before it: Eevee Heroes [S6a]. Loaded with epic cards depicting Eevee and its evolutions, the eighth-generation set Eevee Heroes [S6a] to this day remains one of the most iconic sets of Pok\u00e9mon TCG of all time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like Terastal Festival ex [SV8a], Eevee Heroes [S6a] is a set loaded with mega-rare cards; in fact, proportionally speaking there are far more of them in this eighth-generation set. This means that buyers have an elevated chance of landing a massive pull like Glaceon VMAX, Sylveon VMAX, Leafeon VMAX<\/a>, or\u2026 well, we think you probably know where this is going by now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yeah, you most likely saw this coming when we started listing those Eevee Heroes [S6a] card names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, likely due to the buzz generated by Terastal Festival [SV8a] and the aforementioned Umbreon ex card, demand for \u201cMoonbreon\u201d has skyrocketed accordingly\u2014even when compared to the usual constant interest in it. With all the comparisons that have been drawn between Umbreon ex from Terastal Festival [S6a] and Umbreon VMAX, this card has naturally been brought back to the forefront of the TCG community\u2019s minds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To some, Moonbreon is the greatest Pok\u00e9mon TCG card of all time\u2014and it\u2019s easy to see why some say that. Featuring a captivating Full Art illustration with a compelling narrative, a unique, striking art style depicting the most popular of the Eeveelutions in all its Dynamaxed glory, and a stunning textured holofoil finish, this card forever has a place within the Pok\u00e9mon TCG pantheon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
