Mystical Space Typhoon is one of the most frequently-reprinted Yu-Gi-Oh TCG cards. Going all the way back to its debut in 2000 as part of Magic Ruler, there have been a total of 51 versions of Mystical Space Typhoon. Out of all these cards, the standout was released in 2009; that card was part of Gold Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About<\/strong> Mystical Space Typhoon (Gold Series GS01-JP011)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All 20 cards in Gold Series, including Mystical Space Typhoon, could come in the rarity of Gold Rare which Konami created for the set. Part of the fan interest in this card, therefore, stems from the fact that the Gold Rare rarity has now been “retired”, making this card something of a glimpse into Yu-Gi-Oh’s past as Gold Rare cards ceased to be printed following Gold Pack 2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once upon a time, Mystical Space Typhoon was quite the metagame force\u2014so much so that Konami saw it fit for the card to be restricted to one copy per deck. This restriction took effect in September 2004 (Japan\/Asia-Pacific) or October 2004 (elsewhere) and lasted until August 2010. However, the card has now been powercrept to such an extent that it’s now not particularly gameplay-viable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
