The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 has stood firmly in the confluence of performance and style. It is, therefore, unsurprising that ASICS has extended an invitation to collaborators to infuse their own vision into this hallmark silhouette. Following in the footsteps of renowned brands such as Concepts<\/a>, atmos<\/a>, and Senna<\/a> and preceding A.P.C.<\/a>‘s effort, BEAUTY&YOUTH of United Arrows has been granted the privilege of reimagining the silhouette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the BEAUTY&YOUTH x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In keeping with the brand’s signature aesthetic, the BEAUTY&YOUTH x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 is adorned in a palette of Metallic Silver, Grey, and White. The mesh upper, a hallmark of the silhouette, is crafted with woven patterns. Synthetic metallic silver overlays grace the mudguard, eyelets, and heel, while the ASICS tiger stripes on the midfoot are rendered in a subtle two-tone white and grey finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BEAUTY&YOUTH has also eschewed overt branding, allowing the design to speak for itself. The traditional ASICS logo adorns the tongue, while “GEL-KAYANO 14” is subtly embossed on the lateral heel, and the “GEL” branding is discreetly placed on the heel tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upper is further refined with a two-tone white and black lace set, a pristine white leather overlay atop the tongue, and a metallic grey sockliner, all contributing to the shoe’s overall sense of sophistication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Underfoot, the BEAUTY&YOUTH x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 has a two-tone white and grey foam midsole, incorporating ASICS’ renowned GEL cushioning technology. All the aforementioned sitting atop a grey, black, and white rubber outsole provides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arriving in unisex sizes, the BEAUTY&YOUTH x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 will arrive on 31 January exclusively through BEAUTY&YOUTH’s online and in-store channels, priced at 24,200 JPY (~US$155).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
