After having been introduced in One Piece Film: Red as its main villain, Uta soon became a major fan favorite. Although anime and anime movie-only characters and events aren’t usually regarded as canonical material, series creator Eiichiro Oda made a rare exception in the case of Uta by subsequently confirming her canonical status in the manga\u2014likely due to her significant popularity among the fanbase. For this reason, many of the ONE PIECE Card Game cards depicting her\u2014such as this new Parallel Art reprint of a card from Wings of the Captain [OP-06]\u2014have amassed much demand and thus value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Uta (Wings of the Captain [OP-06] OP06-001)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although, as is often the case with cards like this one, a decent portion of this card’s value can be attributed to the value boost that female characters often generate for their respective cards, this isn’t the only reason behind this card’s sizable price tag. Uta is shown crouched over with an apprehensive expression, her two wings fully out behind her. This sort of characterization through the imagery is likely to add further appeal, especially to the primary demographic of ONE PIECE Card Game fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Parallel Art reprint which comes in the rarity of L-SPC also caters to those who got into One Piece via One Piece Film: Red in which Uta was introduced. The card also represents a significant rarity and value upgrade over the original version<\/a> which in and of itself was already one of the set’s standout cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
