About Bystial Druiswurm (Complete File: Story of White CF01-JP140)

In the story of the Fallen of Albaz, the Bystials were creatures summoned from the abyss by Lubellion and would become part of the fighting force of Aluber, the primary antagonist of the Fallen of Albaz story, alongside the rest of the Despians.

This card directly references its role in the story in two ways: the character’s horns resemble those of Brigrand the Glory Dragon while the character itself can be seen in the illustration of Branded Regained—both characters from the Fallen of Albaz story with cards reprinted in Complete File: Story of White. As such, those who are deeply interested in the canonical backstories of the Yu-Gi-Oh universe will likely be drawn to this card.

The version of this card from Complete File: Story of White comes in Ultra Rare—a significant step up in rarity from the original Darkwing Blast version of Bystial Druiswurm which was merely a Common. This card also fits in well as part of decks which make use of the Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon engine.
