This card has recently experienced a notable price increase following a prior period during which its value surprisingly declined dramatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Varudras, the Final Bringer of the End Times (Legacy of Destruction LEDE-JP045) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the card’s significant rarity of its Quarter Century Secret Rare edition, the name of the card was the subject of some controversy when it was translated into English. This is because the Japanese name of the card is “Decanelogue – Varudras”\u2014a reference to “Decalogue”, a religious term which was understandably cut from the English version. This factoid might add further intrigue to the card. Incidentally, this is also the reason why this card is a Rank 10 Xyz monster card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a player’s perspective, this card is mainly used in Yubel decks; some Ryu-Ge decks include it as well. Varudras, the Final Bringer of the End Times is used as a late-game piece of interruption. It does so by negating the activation of an opponent’s card or effect by detaching an Xyz Material from itself, then repeats this detaching to destroy a different card on the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
