Nike introduced the Zoom Vomero in 2010 and in the succeeding decade, weaved it in and out of its release rotation. When A-COLD-WALL picked it up as a subject of collaboration in 2018, more eyes fell upon the contemporary silhouette, galvanizing a stream of releases in the next 2 years.<\/p>\n

Although last seen in 2020, the Vomero 5 foregoes Samuel Ross’ signature heel piece but borrows the midsole finish that made it famous. This year, it makes its return dressed in an “Oatmeal” colorway, affixed with a mesh base and various TPU and leather overlays.<\/p>\n

Tinge of light blue arrive on the top, bottom, and heel of the shoes standing in mild contrast to its tonal cream upper. Completing the exterior is the unique patina finish, evoking the look of vintage sneakers, while the insoles feature an imprint of Bowerman, presumably Bill, the Nike co-founder. There’s no concrete release date but it’s expected to be within the next few months at Nike.com and select retailers.<\/p>\n
