adidas is celebrating the upcoming 30th anniversary of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story by releasing a special collection of children’s shoes in April 2025. Therein lie familiar silhouettes reimagined and sized down. Think the ever-popular adidas Samba OG, the adidas Gazelle, the adidas Gazelle 360, the adidas Superstar, and the adidas Superstar 360. Colorways cater to children and take after the beloved characters in the film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Toy Story x adidas Collection<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Toy Story x adidas collection kicks off with a Woody-themed Samba OG<\/a>. The shoe’s design incorporates elements reminiscent of the cowboy’s iconic look. A “Preloved Brown” leather upper is accented by “Preloved Blue” denim Three Stripes, a nubuck toe box, and matching laces. The heel tab features faux pony hair with a cow print, mirroring Woody’s vest, while the inner lining showcases a plaid pattern inspired by his shirt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dual branding on the tongue includes a custom Woody graphic, and gold foil lettering highlights the Samba name. Even Woody’s belt buckle is represented by custom lace dubraes. A light gum sole completes the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jessie, introduced in the second film, is celebrated with a vibrant orange Gazelle. The suede upper is complemented by cow-print Three Stripes and a golden yellow heel tab. Dual-branded tongue graphics and custom lace dubraes further tie the shoe to Jessie’s character. Rope laces matching the upper’s color, red stitching, and a gum sole add further details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rex gets his own Gazelle 360, featuring a dinosaur print and his signature green color. An eye is visible on both sides of the shoe, and dual branding appears on the heel tabs. Playful “teeth” details are included on the toe area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fan-favorite Aliens are featured on a Superstar with velcro straps, each adorned with an alien eye. The plush white leather upper is accented by black Three Stripes and heel tabs, with a waving Alien graphic on the side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, a Superstar 360 showcases a collage of various Toy Story characters playfully drawn across an off-white upper. Disney logos and character names are incorporated into the design. Custom dual branding is present on the tongues and heels, and a comfortable Adifom sole provides cushioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Toy Story x adidas Collection is scheduled for release in April 2025 via adidas and select retailers, both online and in stores. The collection will be available in children’s sizes, with prices ranging from US$50 to US$85.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
