For their 2025 Lunar New Year release, New Balance is breaking away from the status quo. Instead of focusing on the Year of the Snake, their Lunar New Year edition of the New Balance 1000 draws inspiration from the phases of the moon, creating a sleek design that isn’t only relevant to the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shoe features a gradient effect on the base, transitioning from grey at the heel to black at the toe. Metallic silver accents highlight the New Balance branding and paneling, contrasting with black leather overlays and a black midsole. Further distinguishing this release are reflective laces and a semi-translucent grey gum outsole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
