Sterling Ruby and OTW by Vans build upon the success of their initial collaboration<\/a> earlier this year. This new offering explores themes of decay, transformation, and the sublime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection features a range of hallmark Vans silhouettes built on Vibram soles: the Old Skool 36, the Sk8-Hi 38, and the Slip-On 98. Each pair is transformed and adorned with ebullient graphics and premium materials. The color palette, dominated by rich greens and golds, evokes a sense of autumnal melancholy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s also an accompanying apparel collection comprising T-shirts, a long-sleeve tee, and a hoodie. The jack-o\u2019-lantern, a recurring motif in the multidisciplinary artist’s works, is spotlit, embedding a touch of macabre whimsy into the designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vans x S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. collection, priced between US$125 and US$200, will be available exclusively on the OTW by Vans website starting 5 December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
