Despite being one of the five original Straw Hat Pirates, Usopp still hadn’t received a Leader card in more than two years of the ONE PIECE Card Game’s existence and after the releases of nine main sets. This was a fact that dismayed a great deal of the fanbase who had been clamoring for such a card to become a reality. With the release of Royal Blood [OP-10]<\/a>, however, this has finally come to fruition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Usopp (Royal Blood [OP-10] OP10-042) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The card’s Parallel Art illustration features the Straw Hat Pirates’ sniper during the Dressrosa Saga\u2014the saga that serves as the basis of the set. Usopp is shown holding his massive slingshot, likely readying himself to play the vital role that he did during the final push to take down Donquixote Doflamingo. It was for his actions during this part of the story that Usopp was subsequently given the epithet “God”\u2014something was actually somewhat relevant to the fandom’s reception of this card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card actually received something of a mixed reception by ONE PIECE Card Game fans in general because although it was the first Leader card depicting Usopp, it also didn’t feature Usopp as “God” Usopp\u2014something which many fans had been eagerly awaiting. Nevertheless, the launch of an Usopp Leader card after so long without one inherently raised demand and therefore the value of this card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The English launch of this card will take place in March 2025 alongside the rest of Royal Blood [OP-10].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buying a copy of an Usopp (Royal Blood [OP-10] OP10-042) card of L-P rarity is 2,800 JPY (~US$19).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
