[Update 17 Jan 2023] New detailed images of the upcoming Nike Air Jordan 2 “UNC to Chicago” have surfaced thanks to ever-reliable @zsneakerheadz<\/a> and @brandon1an<\/a> on Instagram. While these are still slated to drop on 8 March this year, hang tight as we wait on official images and news from Nike. For now, check out the leaked images via the top slider above!<\/strong><\/p>\n

[Update 14 Nov 2022] Some on-feet photos of the pair have surfaced giving us a more detailed and angular look at the Air Jordan 2, courtesy as usual of @yankeekicks<\/a>. A release date remains unchanged and still tentatively set for 8 March next year.<\/p>\n

The UNC to Chicago colorway combines two of Jordan Brand’s most iconic colors\u2014UNC Blue and\u00a0 Fire Red\u2014into one, following Michael Jordan’s rise from his time at UNC to the Chicago Bulls. This unique colorway was first seen on a pair of women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 High, and will now be featured on the low-top Air Jordan 2 Low.<\/p>\n

The AJ2 Low “UNC to Chi” keeps things clean and simple with a predominantly white leather upper. Hits of Fire Red appear on the piping on the side and the Jordan Wings logo at the tongue, while Dark Powder Blue can be found around the heel and the rear part of the outsole. Early images and mock-ups also show the midsole in Nike’s Sail color.<\/p>\n

With a scheduled release date on 8 March, follow along as official photos and more details of the Air Jordan 2 Low “UNC to Chi” become available.<\/p>\n

As the year draws to a close, it looks like Jordan Brand will continue to revisit old favorites from the archives in 2023, including the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 3 “Wizards”<\/a>.<\/p>\n
