The upcoming release of Prismatic Evolutions will see the release of a slew of Pok\u00e9mon TCG products related to the set. Two of these will be the Prismatic Evolutions Pok\u00e9mon Center Elite Trainer Box and the Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box which drop on 17 January 2025; both of these Elite Trainer Boxes will be headlined by an illustration rare promotional Eevee card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Eevee (SVP Black Star Promos 173)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This card is a promotional reprint of an Eevee card which is already out in both English and Japanese; however, that card only has a rarity of Common (C). That card is part of Stellar Tera Type Starter Set Sylveon ex [SVLN]<\/a> in Japanese and Surging Sparks [SSP] in English. Demand for this card will therefore likely be high as it’s a promotional Full Art revamp of a card featuring a fan-favorite Pok\u00e9mon which will only come as part of either of the two Elite Trainer Boxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The card’s illustration adds to its appeal. Eevee is shown adorably sleeping on a rug; a photograph of that same Eevee at the top of the artwork adds further character to the image. Also visible in the imagery are plushies of Voltorb, Pikachu, and a Rawst Berry; these add depth to the card’s backstory. The presence of the two Electric-type Pok\u00e9mon plushies might also imply that the Eevee depicted might someday evolve into Jolteon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although a Japanese version of this card does exist, it’s not a Japanese translation of this particular version of the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of an Eevee (SVP Black Star Promos 173) card will only be known once the first copies make it to the open market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
