From transforming the <a href=\"https:\/\/snkrdunk.com\/en\/search\/result?keyword=maison+margiela+x+reebok+classic+leather+tabi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reebok leather silhouettes into a tabi toe<\/a> to an <a href=\"https:\/\/snkrdunk.com\/en\/search\/result?keyword=maison+margiela+x+reebok+instapump+fury\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instapump Fury upgraded with platform heels<\/a>, every release only furthers our belief in Margiela&#8217;s modern novelty and Reebok&#8217;s adaptability. Their latest foray into the slip-on mania only accentuates this \u2014 the Maison Margiela x Reebok Zig CR is nothing short of voguish unorthodoxy.<\/p>\n<p>Laceless with a low profile, this Zig CR silhouette is likely meant to be a crossover of a loafer, a croc&#8230; and also a trainer? We aren&#8217;t quite sure how to place it, and that&#8217;s the perhaps the beauty of this model. The EVA-infused sole is reinforced with TPU inserts. The same TPU material is found on the upper, which finishes off with a rubberized leather toe guard. Maison Margiela&#8217;s trademark numbers are embossed onto the upper, followed by Reebok&#8217;s sleek logo right below.<\/p>\n<p>What makes this slip-on quintessentially Margiela is the sharp cut-outs, which look slightly like that of Reebok&#8217;s logo. This sidles up nicely with the House&#8217;s decortiqu\u00e9 technique, which practices the reduction of a piece to its most essential structures through slicing and cutting.<\/p>\n<p>This Maison Margiela x Reebok Zig CR was dropped on 26 August 2022 in three colorways \u2014 &#8220;Triple White&#8221;, &#8220;Triple Black&#8221; and &#8220;Black\/Red&#8221;.
