[Update 17 Mar 2025] The 151 5-Pack Mini Tins Bundle arrived in Canadian stores on 16 March 2025. Unfortunately, the launch quickly spiraled into chaos in several stores as fights broke out in multiple locations as seen on a video posted on the official PokéBeach Twitter account. In the background, shoppers can be seen carrying towering stacks of Pokémon products. This frenzy stems from scalping reaching an all-time high due to overwhelming and unexpected demand.

[Update 6 Nov 2024] A video uploaded by TikTok user @maytheforcebewithwu which has now gone viral among the Pokémon TCG community has highlighted just how intense the hype behind the 151 5-Pack Mini Tins Bundle is. The video shows a group of scalpers ransacking a Costco store to buy massive quantities of the 151 5-Pack Mini Tins Bundle in hopes of using them to turn a massive profit for themselves.

While the actions of those scalpers have been roundly and deservedly condemned by the Pokémon TCG community in general, it’s nonetheless true that the fact that this not only happened, but even went viral on social media proves that demand for the 151 5-Pack Mini Tins Bundle is skyrocketing.

As such, the release of the 151 5-Pack Mini Tins Bundle on 21 October 2024, which dropped without any prior announcement, might turn out to be exactly the thing to revive interest in these epic sets.
