The Parasol Lady can be regarded an as often-overlooked Trainer archetype. In the Pok\u00e9mon video games, none of them have made particularly significant impacts on the games’ storylines or gameplay. That, however, certainly can’t be said of the Special Art Rare (SAR) version of the Parasol Lady card from ninth-generation Pok\u00e9mon TCG set Raging Surf [SV3a]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Parasol Lady (Raging Surf [SV3a] 089\/062)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The appeal of this card largely lies in the fact that it has a Full Art illustration of a female character. Adding to this, unlike the illustrations found on the less rare versions of this card, the Parasol Lady is shown with what appears to be a somewhat stunned expression on her face\u2014at least on the surface. However, there are certain fans which might take that expression a somewhat “different” way, thus raising demand for this card in a way which Creatures Inc. might not necessarily have intended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visually, the holofoil does much to add to the illustration. This is because it brings out the full visual impact of the raindrops in the foreground as well as the rainbow in the background by appearing to cast a layer of light over them. The somewhat faded colors in the background further amplify this effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
