Marshall D. Teach, the arch-rival of One Piece protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, is almost certainly the best-known of all One Piece villains<\/a>. Many fans regard Teach as either the likely final foe that Luffy will have to defeat on his quest to obtain the One Piece or immediately after one of the two obtains it and with the One Piece itself at stake. Now, for the very first time, Teach appears on a ONE PIECE Card Game Manga Rare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About<\/strong> Marshall D. Teach (Emperors in the New World [OP-09] OP09-093)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This card’s status as a Manga Rare matches those of the other members of the Four Emperors\u2014the four ultra-powerful pirates after whom the Emperors in the New World [OP-09] set is named and around whom the set is based. As is the case with all other Manga Rares, this card is exceptionally rare and thus goes for major money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of that, interest in this Super Rare Secret Parallel (SR-SP) card as well as others depicting Teach will likely increase in the time to come. This is because his relevance to the One Piece storyline is almost certain to further grow as the plot progresses. As such, this card could be worth significantly more than it is now several years down the line\u2014especially if Teach does end up being the manga’s final antagonist as that would make this card the first Manga Rare of the series’ True Final Boss<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This card will be released in English in December 2024 with the rest of Emperors in the New World [OP-09].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A copy of a Marshall D. Teach (Emperors in the New World [OP-09] OP09-093) card of SR-SP rarity has a sale price of 110,000 JPY (~US$758).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
