The three cards carry the same name every year\u2014No. 1 Trainer, No. 2 Trainer, and No. 3 Trainer. They were awarded on 18 August 2024, the last day of the <a href=\"https:\/\/snkrdunk.com\/en\/magazine\/2024\/08\/19\/pokemon-tcg-fernando-cifuentes-beats-seinosuke-shiokawa-to-win-the-2024-pokemon-tcg-world-championships\/?slide=right\">2024 Pok\u00e9mon World Championships<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the 2024 Pok\u00e9mon TCG World Championships Prize Cards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Something that&#8217;s notable about the prize cards from 2024 Worlds is the fact that the cards use the same illustration as the 2023 Worlds version but with the logo in the bottom-left corner replaced by this year&#8217;s logo. This was somewhat expected, given the fact that last year&#8217;s card illustrations were very well-received by the Pok\u00e9mon TCG community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the top four finishers of the Pok\u00e9mon World Championships\u2014therefore including all three players in each category awarded this card\u2014automatically qualify for the following year&#8217;s Worlds, the 2024 version of the card is the first time that the cards do not specify such being the case on their text. This is likely to avoid an awkward situation in the event of an emergency cancellation as was the case in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic; the 2019 iteration of the cards rather embarrassingly had the phrase &#8220;You may return to battle the best in 2020&#8221; on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These cards will not be released in any language other than English.
