Following Team USA’s gold medal triumph, adidas Basketball unveiled a special edition adidas AE 1 dubbed the “Gold Medal” for star player Anthony Edwards. Presented in a golden briefcase, the opulent footwear served as a fitting tribute to Edwards’ Olympic achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduced late last year, the adidas AE 1 quickly established itself as a high-performance basketball shoe, marking a successful debut signature model for Edwards. The “Gold Medal” iteration maintains this performance focus while indulging in luxurious aesthetics. Clad in a monochromatic matte gold upper, the shoe features a translucent white outsole and black mesh accents. The iconic Three Stripes on the heel are also finished in gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, there are no plans for a public release of the adidas AE 1 “Gold Medal”, making it an exclusive piece for Edwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
