The New Balance 1000, a retro runner from the turn of the millennium, has steadily gained traction since its triumphant return this year. Initially introduced in 1999, the model’s distinctive wavy lines and layered upper marked a bold stylistic departure for the Boston-based brand. This latest iteration, the New Balance 1000 “Astro Dust”, is set to arrive in August 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This version features a clean Sea Salt white base accented with muted Astro Dust red. The red pops against the white, highlighting the shoe’s mesh underlay, lace loops, midsole cushioning, and tongue branding. A vintage-inspired yellowed midsole completes the retro look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Balance 1000 “Astro Dust” is set to drop on 21 August 2024 at a retail price of US$150. It will be available both online at New Balance and at select retailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
