In the Yu-Gi-Oh manga, the duel between Katsuya Jonouchi and Bandit Keith Howard included a sequence during which Katsuya equipped a Dragon Nails card to his Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon. Katsuya made this move in order to prevent his Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon from being destroyed by Keith’s Blast Sphere. In the latest Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Core Booster Rage of the Abyss<\/a>, Konami directly referenced this portion of Katsuya and Keith’s duel by releasing the Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon<\/strong> (Rage of the Abyss ROTA-JP005)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon has an original ATK of 3400. This is one of the card’s direct references to the manga. Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon’s original ATK of 2800 was increased by 600 to a total of 3400 after Katsuya equipped it with Dragon Nails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The card’s illustration also alludes to the manga. The character’s design is clearly based on that of the original Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon card; additionally, the Dragon Nails are also clearly visible on the left and right sides of the imagery. These manga references are likely to impress those who got into Yu-Gi-Oh via the manga. Additionally, it’s possible for this card to come in Quarter Century Secret Rare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This card’s English version will be out on 10 October 2024, just as the rest of Rage of the Abyss will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of a Quarter Century Secret Rare Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon (Rage of the Abyss ROTA-JP005) card is 2,800 JPY (~US$19).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
