With US President Joe Biden officially withdrawing his bid for re-election, Awake NY is marking the decision by way of a T-shirt featuring former First Lady Michelle Obama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offered in black and white, the front of the shirt displays a portrait of the former First Lady from her Princeton University graduation. Below this, the iconic phrase “When they go low, we go high” is prominently featured, words she first stated at the 2016 Democratic National Convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reverse of the shirt boldly proclaims “OBAMA AWAKE ’24”, a declaration of support for her, adorned with the Awake NY logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Awake NY x Michelle Obama T-Shirt is currently available on Awake NY’s website with an RRP of US$60. A portion of the proceeds from the Michelle ’24 Tee will be dedicated to supporting the Asiyah Women\u2019s Center, a pioneering organization providing vital resources to women of color who are refugees and migrants in New York City and New Jersey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
