This intriguing pack of Air Force Ones were first seen in last year’s images of Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER \u201cOnce in a Lifetime\u201d 2022 S\/S Men\u2019s Collection. This September, it seems like they’ll be getting a full unveiling. The gang pictured above isn’t actually a trio but a quartet, missing is the blacktop colorway.<\/p>\n
The blueprint of the design seems to be an amalgamation, borrowing from some of Nike’s other classics. The heel cage concept can be attributed to the Huarache, but it’s evidently more derivative of the Air Revaderchi\u2014the quintessence of the ACG line.<\/p>\n

The neoprene Gore-Tex sock lining and the heel cages have been integrated into the AF1s, albeit the latter being more a translucent TPU than an opaque black. As mentioned, there’re four colorways that have surfaced: a familiar Revaderchi colorway, a Triple White, and a blacktop. But the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance would have to be the monochromatic pair wrapped around the Renaissance graphic.<\/p>\n
The collection is scheduled to drop sometime in September but anything can change. The pairs featured are sample pieces but once official photos are released, we can be sure that the hype train is reaching its destination. For now, all aboard!<\/p>\n
September’s going to burn a whole in sneakerheads’ pockets. The Futura x Off-White x Nike Dunk Low<\/a> pack is dropping then too.<\/p>\n
