Two decades of dedication to skateboarding excellence are commemorated in a stunning new collaboration between Nike SB and legendary skater Grant Taylor. This momentous occasion ushers in the arrival of the Nike SB Blazer Low GT “Fine China”.

While not a celebration of a traditional 20 years as a signature Nike athlete, this edition marks a different, yet equally significant, anniversary. It harks back to 2004, the year a then-adolescent Taylor first graced an official Nike cut-up video, “On Tap”, alongside skateboarding heavyweights like Paul Rodriguez, Danny Supa, and Brian Anderson. This pivotal moment marked Taylor’s official entry into the hallowed halls of Nike SB.

Both partners showcase their mutual respect through this collaboration, drawing inspiration from the classic fine china motif traditionally associated with twentieth wedding anniversaries. This narrative foundation is further enriched by the shoe’s intricate iconography.

The heel counter proudly displays a bottle cap emblem—a playful nod to the official “On Tap” promotional stickers, a witty double entendre referencing both the upcoming talent and a celebratory beverage. The story unfolds further through meticulously crafted details: the interior design, a graphic outsole, and the packaging itself.

The Nike SB x Grant Taylor Blazer Low “Fine China” is poised for a formal release announcement in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
