Nike’s ongoing exploration of its historical archives takes another intriguing turn with the return of the LD-1000. Originally introduced in 1977, this silhouette holds a unique place in Nike’s history, having been swiftly recalled due to unforeseen design flaws. Nearly five decades later, the LD-1000 finds itself resurrected, this time with the help of a long-standing collaborator: St\u00fcssy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial capsule featuring “Action Green” and “Phantom\/Aquarius Blue”<\/a> colorways generated significant buzz, and the momentum continues with the announcement of three additional iterations slated for a Fall release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Particle Grey” promises a sophisticated aesthetic, blending various shades of grey with green and fossil accents. “Sanded Gold” injects a dose of vibrancy with its gold tones offset by laser fuchsia and fossil highlights. Rounding out the trio is the “Pinksicle” colorway, offering a playful combination of bright pink, fossil, and white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While official images of these new additions haven’t been disclosed, details suggest they will maintain the design elements that have garnered attention for the initial releases. Expect a lightweight woven mesh upper complemented by textural and durable suede panels. The iconic Swoosh logo will undoubtedly take center stage, while St\u00fcssy branding will be prominently displayed on the tongue and heel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highly anticipated expansion of the St\u00fcssy x Nike LD-1000 collection arrives this Fall 2024. These iterations, available in men’s sizing and priced at $110, will launch through St\u00fcssy stores and both brands’ online platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
