[Update 21 Jun 2024] Ronnie Fieg’s ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12.1 has been released in both colorways today, 21 June, via Kith Paris. A global launch is expected sometime later this year. Keep it posted to SNKRDUNK Magazine for the latest updates on your favorite pairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founder of the multifunctional lifestyle brand Kith, Ronnie Fieg, has teamed up with ASICS to revamp the timeless GEL-KAYANO 12. Ronnie’s iteration features a striking combination of metallic silver and cream that refreshes the silhouette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shoe itself mixes tumbled leather and mesh for a look that’s both durable and breathable. Silver accents adorn the mudguard, vamp, eyestays, and heel for a sleek vibe, while the cream mesh base keeps things balanced. ASICS branding also gets the cream treatment, tying the whole look together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the sole, the GEL-KAYANO 12 gets a slight upgrade from its 2006 self. It features modernized cushioning technology for better comfort and responsiveness, and the outsole has a grippy pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the “Cream\/Silver” colorway, rumors suggest a second one is on the way, with details remaining scant so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kith x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12 collaboration is set to release at Kith stores and online sometime this month. No official pricing has been announced yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
