[Update 25 Jul 2024] Joe Freshgoods has just confirmed that both colorways of the New Balance MiUSA 990v6, “Paris Red” and “Prom Blue”, will debut at the “A Friend Named Cousin” art exhibit in Paris, France on 27 July alongside a collection of official visuals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Paris Red” will be exclusive to the exhibit, while the “Prom Blue” will receive a wider release in August through his website and select retailers. Check out the official images in the gallery above!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 23 Jul 2024] Joe Freshgoods has announced an upcoming exhibition titled “A Friend Named Cousin” set to grace the Parisian art scene from 26th to 30th July. Intriguingly, amidst the excitement, the Chicago-based designer has offered a tantalizing glimpse of the titular Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v6 (in the gallery above).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concrete details remain undisclosed, but the imminent Paris exhibition suggests a potential launch platform for the pair, before evolving to a global launch. As the project unfolds, the world eagerly awaits further revelations from this dynamic duo. Stay tuned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Freshgoods is no stranger to heating things up with New Balance. After reviving the New Balance 1000<\/a> silhouette recently, he’s teaming up with the Boston-based sportswear brand again for a new take on the 990v6 silhouette, dubbed the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v6 “Red\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A luxurious blend of pigskin suede, perforated nubuck, and breathable mesh come together in a deep, eye-catching Red. The iconic N logo gets the same Red treatment, creating a clean, monochromatic look. While details about special Joe Freshgoods touches are still under wraps, expect his signature flair on the heel, insole, and possibly the tongue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For comfort, this collaboration doesn’t skimp. A Red foam midsole with FuelCell cushioning promises a smooth ride, all wrapped up in a matching Red rubber outsole, completing the look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expect the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v6 MADE in USA \u201cRed\u201d to drop on August 2024 at Joe Freshgoods’ website, his Every Now and Then storefront, and potentially at New Balance and select retailers. The pair is rumored to retail at US$220.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
