The leader of the villainous Team Star, Cassiopeia has one of the most compelling backstories among the characters introduced in the Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet and Violet video games. For this reason and others, it’s not surprising that the newest Pok\u00e9mon TCG card that depicts her has turned out to be the biggest pull in the newly-released Night Wanderer [SV6a]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The card’s Full Art illustration by burari depicts Cassiopeia in front of a computer with all manner of graphs and data in front of her. The Rotom Phone that she owns can also be seen, while the dark visual tones of the image and the hoodie that she’s shown wearing combine to give the image a sense of mystery and notions that there’s still something unknown\u2014apt given Cassiopeia’s in-game role; she is never seen in-person until the climax of her storyline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This being a card with a Full Art illustration of a female character, it was always bound to be a major fan attraction for that reason. Despite being a villain, many have also found Cassiopeia to be a relatable character\u2014especially following the conclusion of the Team Star arc when the truth about her is revealed. Cassiopeia is also a somewhat controversial and divisive character within the fanbase; all these factors have made her one of the biggest fan-favorites among Pok\u00e9mon villains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, off to the right side of the card is Cassiopeia’s Sylveon. Being not only one of the most popular Eeveelutions but one of the most popular Pok\u00e9mon in general, Sylveon’s appearance on this Special Art Rare (SAR) card is certain to give it a value boost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card’s English release date hasn’t yet been confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of a Cassiopeia (Night Wanderer [SV6a] 091\/064) card of SAR rarity is 8,500 JPY (~US$55).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
