Being a recipient of the prestigious Ballon d\u2019Or for a record eight times and finally completing his trophy cabinet with the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me of major honors in football, the FIFA World Cup, Lionel Messi is no stranger to achievement. As such, gold, a color often associated with victory, is a fitting theme for his next collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

German sportswear brand, adidas, has decided to team up with the Inter Miami player and deck out the iconic Samba in a \u201cBlack\/Gold\u201d colorway for their next collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shoe features a smooth Black leather base with rich Black suede on the T-toe for a textured contrast. Metallic Gold takes center stage on the Three Stripes and heel tab, adding some serious shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Messi’s logo appears on the tongue, and even the Samba branding gets a golden accent. Rounding out the design is a classic Gum rubber sole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lionel Messi x adidas Samba in \u201cBlack\/Gold\u201d is now available at adidas stores and select retailers, with an RRP of US$100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
