[Update 5 Jul 2024] The New Balance 1000 Reflective Pack’s shoes, the “Black” and “Silver” colorways, will see a release on 10 July 2024. Those interested in getting a pair can do so via New Balance brick-and-click stores at a retail price of US$150. You can also find them on the SNKRDUNK App post-release.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this year, the spotlight seems to be moving from the once-dominant 1906R to the classic New Balance 1000. The 1000 actually first came out in 1999, and it recently got a relaunch to celebrate its 25th anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, two new colorways of the 1000 silhouette have been revealed and are known to take things up a notch with reflective details. Both shoes keep the same sleek design with the iconic “N” logo on the sides and “1000” on the toes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Black” pair is especially eye-catching. It has a cool gradient that shifts from purple to orange to yellow on the tongue and between the overlays. Those black overlays transform into a vibrant purple when hit with light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Silver” version goes for a more subtle look, but it still shines with reflective overlays that make the whole shoe pop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s no official word yet on the exact release date, but the reflective New Balance 1000 is expected to launch later this year for US$150 at New Balance and other retailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
