Despite not having been heavily spotlighted in the second half of the One Piece manga, Tashigi is featured on one of the most sought-after cards from the Absolute Justice [ST-06] Starter Deck. Tashigi, who serves under Vice Admiral Smoker of the Marines, is one of many Marine or Marine-adjacent characters in this ONE PIECE Card Game Starter Deck themed around those characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The card’s illustartion shows Tashigi wielding Shigure, her signature katana. Those who have paid close attention to the One Piece manga will also have recognized that this image is from the portion of the manga after Tashigi has been promoted to the rank of captain. It was at that point that she started wearing the pink coat she’s shown with here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The floral pattern in the background isn’t just for aesthetics\u2014it’s a “character-establishing” image. It’s an expanded and recolored version of the same floral pattern that’s on Tashigi’s shirt. A stylized version of the Marines’ logo can also be seen on the right side of the card (placed vertically instead of the usual horizontal alignment).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, the usual “female character boost” does come into play here. However, it might not necessarily have quite the same impact that it normally does, given that this time around the illustrator made no attempt to play it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card has been released in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A copy of a Tashigi (Absolute Justice [OP-06] OP06-006) card has a price of 4,300 JPY (~US$27) as per the latest figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
