Nike honors the vibrant D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area, also known as the “DMV”, with a special edition Air Foamposite One bearing an eponymous moniker. This unique shoe pays homage to the area’s rich culture and heritage, offering the locals a chance to represent their hometown in style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “DMV” iteration of the Air More Foamposite One features a stunning rose gold upper adorned with a classic embroidered Swoosh and Penny Hardaway’s iconic “1 Cent” emblem. In a nod to the inspiration behind the shoe’s design, “DMV” is prominently displayed on the heel pull tabs. Further building upon this, the insoles feature a cherry blossom graphic alluding to the region’s breathtaking beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Black suede accents complement the tonal laces and inner lining, while a semi-translucent outsole completes the look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nike Air Foamposite One “DMV” is expected to launch in select Nike Sportswear retailers in the DMV area this Summer. It will retail for US$240.
